We need Beta labels and Quality scores to understand file processing reliability

We're having trouble understanding how well different file types will work with your system, and we'd like better visibility into the quality of our processed files.

We upload many different file types and it's not always clear which ones work well. We'd love to see some kind of indicator (like a "Beta" label) that shows us which file types might not process as reliably.

For example, we know PDFs usually work great, but when we upload JPEGs we're not sure if the text extraction will be good. It would be helpful to see labels like "Beta" or "Limited Support" on file types that might have issues.

We'd want to see these labels in:

  • The upload areas where we drag and drop files

  • When we're uploading files and getting feedback

  • In our file lists where we can see all our assets

After you process our files, we'd like to know how well the processing went. Sometimes we upload a blurry JPEG and wonder why the results aren't great - it would be helpful to know that the original file quality was the issue, not your processing.

We'd like to see quality indicators like:

  • "High Quality" when our PDF or text file was well-structured and processed cleanly

  • "Low Quality" when our JPEG had unclear text or the extraction found mostly gibberish

This would help us understand when we need to provide better source materials versus when there might be a processing issue.

We'd want to see these quality scores in our asset lists so we can quickly identify which files might need to be re-uploaded with better quality originals.
